Review: Hayden the Perfect Hedgehog by Arla Jayne

Welcome to my blog!
It is my pleasure to feature
Hayden the Perfect Hedgehog by Arla Jayne

He’s not like me . . .
Come along with Hayden the Perfect Hedgehog and his momma on his first journey outside of Tiny Yard. Meet a young toad named Johnny and experience Hayden’s first interaction with someone not like him.

My thoughts:
A tiny book with a giant message!
Written in verse, with sweet animal characters and beautiful artwork, this is a wonderful little story about the importance of acceptance and the value of diversity.
I love the mother's song, "You be you and I'll be me. We'll be as happy as can be!"
It's a message all mother's should teach all chilldren.
Imagine a world where we embraced our differences!
